Restorative Nature Immersions
Guided nature-based immersions for rest, connection, and nervous system restoration.
Welcome to Restorative Nature Immersions (RNI)
Restorative Nature Immersions invites you to deepen your connection with the natural world. Through guided, community-held experiences, we create space to slow down, soften the nervous system, and allow relationships with the more-than-human world to emerge.
Our mission is to tend the relationship between people and the natural world within community, rooted in somatic embodiment, nervous system awareness, and the rhythms of slow living. In a productivity-driven world, this is a quiet act of resistance and remembrance.
Inspired by shinrin-yoku (forest bathing) and guided by the principles of the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy, we trust the forest as the healer while the guide opens the door. Each immersion unfolds slowly and with intention through sensory invitations, nature-based meditations, and threshold moments that mark transitions into and out of liminal time. We close with a tea ceremony to honor reciprocity with the land.
Our gatherings may also weave in somatic and creative practices such as ephemeral art, poetry, watercolor, yoga, and mindful movement, offered as invitations for expression and integration.
Surrender to the wind, trees, rivers, and soil. Within this held container, find rest, renewal, and attunement to life’s rhythms.

Next offering coming soon, Spring 2026
Sliding scale donation: $20–$40
Step outside the pace of daily life and into the natural world. This guided forest bathing experience begins with a centering meditation to help quiet the mind and settle into the body. From there, gentle invitations open ways to notice and connect with the living world around you.
Throughout the walk, we pause to share what we are experiencing, allowing the group to deepen together. We close with a tea ceremony, honoring what the forest has offered.
No experience necessary. All are welcome.

Next offering coming soon, Spring 2026
Sliding scale donation: $25–$45
Purchase a canvas and borrow paints: $5–$15
Hike with us to a natural setting where we’ll settle in for a couple of hours. We begin with a centering meditation to quiet the mind and arrive in the body. Gentle invitations then guide connection with the living world, opening into creative exploration.
Prompts and materials are available for painting, journaling, and poetry, alongside natural elements for ephemeral art. You’re also welcome to bring your own materials and follow your own creative direction.
The focus is on presence and play rather than an end product. We close with a tea ceremony honoring what the land has offered.
No experience necessary. All are welcome.

Forest Bathing and Yoga
A combination of mindful nature immersion and gentle movement practice.
Next offering coming soon, Spring 2026
Sliding scale donation: $35–$55
Hike with us to a beautiful natural setting where we slow our pace and settle into the senses. A brief meditation and gentle invitations support connection with the living world, with pauses along the way to share and deepen as a group.
We then transition into an outdoor yoga practice, followed by a closing tea ceremony to honor what the forest has offered. You’re welcome to bring a snack or picnic to enjoy during tea time.
No experience necessary. All are welcome.
